I recently fell in love with reading, now I can't stop!

I enjoy Fiction, NonFiction, History, Crime, YA/NA, Dark and LOTS of Romance...sometimes sweet, sometimes smutty ;)

Hearts in Darkness by Laura Kaye

Hearts in Darkness - Laura Kaye

This book surprised me. You know when you start thinking that you will read just a little and then you can sleep... Uh Uh, this book said "Where the hell are you going?!" I loved the story, the way it was narrated but mostly Makenna and Caden. I think many people have fantasized about staying locked up in an elevator, obviously in excellent company...Yes? Well this book took that to another level. I laughed, shed a few tears and obviously, the book is super sexy, which adds a lot of points ;) I would totally recommend!

Painted faces by L.H. Cosway

Painted Faces - L.H. Cosway

Five stars are not enough!

I'm so glad I found this book! I have to be honest, at first the idea of a hero being a drag queen didn't appeal to me too much but that is the point I'm trying to make here...

"Painted faces" was an unique and pleasant read and I totally fell in love with Nicholas aka Vivica. Let me say, I am openminded but still I was thinking "Is this normal?" well, I don't know or...

Nicholas is adorable, deliciously sexy and broken (yeah idk what is it with broken men, we can't resist them!) so it was easy forgetting that he enjoys dressing as a woman from thursday to saturday nights, although for him is much more than that.

"I get that some men want to dress up as woman because they want to be a woman. I don't want to be a woman though, at least not when I'm off the stage. I perform for the catharsis, because it's freeing."

Freda, she was hilarious, she speaks her mind, doesn't take shit from anyone and is shy sometimes, it was easy connecting with her.

"I'd come to the realisation that I love Nicholas. All it took was for him to save me from being mangled by a car. But I know that's not the only reason why I love him. I love him because he makes me laugh when I don't feel like laughing. I love him because he challenges my view of what a man is. I love him because I know I shouldn't love him and that he'll break my heart. I love him because he's a complete and total anomaly. I love him because I want to kill the sadness inside him more than I want anything else in the world."

They don't have a perfect love but they have a heartbreakingly beautiful one and I loved it!

Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma

Forbidden - Tabitha Suzuma

You can not decide who you fall in love with, do you?

Yes, the book is about a brother and sister who engage in an incestuous relationship but it is much much more than that. The life of Lochan and Maya is extremely difficult, at their young age they have responsibilities they should not have and the only support they have is each other.

"He was always so much more than just a brother. He was my soulmate, my fresh air, the reason I look forward to getting up in the morning. He is my brother, he is my best friend"

"The human body needs a constant flow of nourishment, air and love to survive. Without Maya I lose al three; apart we wil slowly die"

Forbidden was a pure, beautiful and heart aching journey and anyone who is a little intrigued with taboos or simply enjoy romance and emotional reads should go for it. It's soo worth it! The author did a great job in allowing me to connect with each of the characters, I cared and felt for them except the mother, who was a selfish, thoughtless bitch.

A little too far, by Lisa Desrochers *5 STARS*

A Little Too Far - Lisa Desrochers

I knew this book was going to be good and let me tell you, it was. "A little too far" was a hot-breaking taboo, sweet, emotional and funny read. I can even say that I learned some stuff about Rome, culture, and art, sooo I also enjoyed that.

Did I say funny?

“Oh God!”
“That would now be a million and seven, by my count. I hope you brought your
rosary to Italy as well as your friend’s flip-flops.”
“You speak English!”
“I do, child. Is there more you are in need of confessing?”
“Hell, no!”
“Hmm . . . Well, then. Let us pray”

I thought about giving the book 4 stars at first because I got REALLY MAD with Lexie's decision...

BUT that wasn't going to be fair. SO I'M OVER IT!!! I guess I just was heartbroken for the other hot-dreamy-sweet male character. YEAH, not a big fan of love triangles, however I'm definitly reading the next book to see if he gets his HEA, I REALLY HOPE HE DOES.

I really recommend this book!

Seduced in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #2) - C.J. Roberts

This book it's an emotional mindfuck, but let me tell you IT IS WORTH IT.

Complete Me: A Novel

Complete Me: A Novel - J. Kenner

“I want to hold you close. To cherish and protect you. To draw you in until we are so close that I am lost within you. I want to take you to bed, to watch the way your skin tightens beneath my fingers, the way your body awakens under my touch. I want to trail kisses over you until you are lost in so much pleasure that you don’t know where you end and I begin. I want to tie you up and fuck you until there is no doubt that you are mine. I want to dress you up and take you out, and show you off, this beautiful, vibrant, brilliant woman. Everything I’ve built? All my billions? They have no value compared to you.”

Well hello, this is one fictional character I love.
